Liver Cirrhosis Cure :

Liver cirrhosis though linked with alcohol consumption over a chronic duration has been responsive when controlled or no alcohol consumption is attempted. Liver cirrhosis cure has been documented with the use of papaya seeds which are known to aid in liver detoxification. The home remedies for liver cirrhosis cure also include use of green tea as it is known to reduce oxidative stress on tissues. One of the causes of cirrhosis of the liver, cystic fibrosis is responsible for causing autoimmune hepatitis can only be cured by use of corticosteroids.

Liver Cirrhosis Medicine :

Allopathy does not have any index of drugs that cater to the liver cirrhosis and thereby it is considered as incurable in that domain of medicine. However, in Ayurveda, there are liver cirrhosis medicine that are specifically discovered for the condition. Few of the medicine for liver cirrhosis include:

1. Tab. Aarogyavardhini vati: To be taken as 1 tablet after meals twice a day. The effectiveness of this medicine is by virtue of its immunity booster property and its liver stimulant property.
2. Syp. Amrutarishta: This is to be taken as 1 tsp after meals twice a day. This works as an anti-inflammatory and helps detoxifying the blood.

Symptoms of cirrhosis are a sign of the healthy liver cells undergoing some form of scar tissue formation debilitating their function. The liver cirrhosis medicine although not that effective is capable of controlling the increased blood pressure in the portal vein causing portal hypertension. Regardless of the medicine taken, alcohol abuse must be attended to and stopped. A complication of severe cirrhosis includes hepatic encephalopathy. Scarring of the liver tissue is also noted in primary biliary cirrhosis which is a subtype of liver cirrhosis due to bile duct obstruction.
