Amenorrhea Treatment

Rasyog, the primary reason behind it being named so is its emphasis on rasa or the primary element of human bodily composition. Amenorrhea is a disease of two doshas namely, pitta and kapha and sometimes even involves both.

Primary amenorrhea in young women is a sequel to premature ovarian failure and that in turn can lead to disturbed levels of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone. While secondary amenorrhea is precipitated by the use of birth control pills or conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome. These changes bring about changes in the normal menstrual cycle thus causing amenorrhea.

For amenorrhea treatment, it is required that both the doshas are brought to a harmony within the body. Rasyog with its unique programs and original herbal formulations has been able to achieve successful amenorrhea treatment scores among its patients.

The Ayurvedic form of medicine has become exceedingly popular in recent times because more and more people are getting interested in using natural methods such as herbs for their treatments. The Ayurveda treatment for Amenorrhea has become particularly popular around the globe because of its simplicity and its effectiveness. Amenorrhea is a reflection of some failure in the integrally interconnected neuroendocrine feedback loop between the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland, the ovaries, and the uterus which control the menstrual cycle. However, amenorrhea is not itself a disease.

There are several Ayurveda herbs that can be used as a treatment for Amenorrhea; treating amenorrhea is determined by its cause. Hormone therapy can be effective for primary amenorrhea caused by hormonal changes. Surgery can sometimes alleviate cases related to hereditary problems. For secondary amenorrhea, sometimes lifestyle changes can help if weight, stress, or physical activity is causing the amenorrhea. Other times medications and oral contraceptives can help the problem. Some may experience excessive hair growth on the face, headache, milky nipple discharge and problems in vision as a calming property and it promotes periods. Blue cohosh stimulates the uterine and is used in treatments of menstrual disorders. Intake of tomato juice every day is very beneficial too.
